Hungarian Grand Prix Review
Monday, 04 August 2008
Altogether a trying weekend for AT&T Williams at the Hungarian Grand Prix with neither driver able to collect points. From the outset, the team struggled for pace at the Hungaroring. Coupled with a mechanical problem for Nico in qualifying and weak starts on both cars, Rosberg and Nakajima were on the back foot going into a Grand Prix on a circuit renowned for its limited overtaking opportunities. Nico finished the race where he started in P14, despite losing time in the pits following a problem with his fuel rig. Kazuki’s afternoon was no less difficult, but was somewhat alleviated by a change to his strategy mid-race, which helped put him in 13th place at the chequered flag.

Monday, 21 July 2008
Both AT&T Williams drivers were in the thick of the action during the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim but, despite making modest improvements over their grid positions, neither finished in the championship points. Both Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima dropped time behind slower cars early on, but made some advances after a mid-race safety car period brought the field together. Nico rounded off the top ten and Kazuki finished the 67 laps in 15th position.

Hockenheim takes over from the Nurburgring this year to host the German Grand Prix on Sunday 20 July. Hockenheim was originally built as a test track in 1939 but only hosted its first Formula One race in 1970. The track became a permanent fixture on the Formula One calendar in 1978, since which time it has been the venue for all but two German Grands Prix. Now in its 31st year, the German track has undergone considerable modifications over the years in an effort to improve safety standards, but has lost none of its original charm, weaving through the forest and out into the dramatic stadium section where some of the most enthusiastic of the sport’s fans lie in wait to cheer their heroes. With a quarter of the grid anticipating their home race this weekend, including AT&T Williams’ Nico Rosberg, the German Grand Prix always proves to be one of the most atmospheric of the season.

British Grand Prix Review - Nakajima makes his point
Tuesday, 08 July 2008
Kuzuki Nakajima posted his fourth points scoring finish of the season after overcoming tricky wet weather conditions to finish eighth in the dramatic British Grand Prix. Team-mate Nico Rosberg made it two AT&T Williams FW30s in the top ten; he finished ninth despite starting from the pit-lane and an extra pit stop to replace some damaged parts of his car. Intermitent rain and a slippery Silverstone track produced yet another eventful race with plenty of on-track action to keep a sell-out crowd well-entertained throughout.
